It’s from a cookbook my aunt and uncle got as a wedding gift, and it really is a slam dunk every single time. And don’t skip the slightly thin, fudgey frosting! To whoever put the recipe on their blog (linked here), bless you. The cookbook is called Bride and Groom First and Forever Cookbook (lol) in case you want to get it for like $2 on Thriftbooks. Worth it for the cake recipe alone.
