Danish Modern Teak Dining Chairs (Schionning & Elgaard for Randers Mobelfabrik, Set of 6)

A set of these chairs might be my husband’s most impressive thrift score. He found four of them mismatched with a random table at a thrift store- they were asking $100 for the whole set. He took the chairs and left the table. We later paid… significantly more… for four more at the Alameda Point Flea, but it still shakes out to a pretty amazing deal overall. What’s so unique about this design is the subtle cutout on the backrest and the little details in the woodwork of the legs.
